The International Republican Institute (IRI) was present for the off-cycle gubernatorial elections on September 22, 2018 in Osun State, Nigeria.

We traveled to Osun State, Nigeria to assess recent reforms pursued by the electoral commission and security forces to improve the electoral environment ahead of the 2019 general elections. We also contributed to the findings and recommendations of a second pre-election assessment mission, conducted jointly with the National Democratic Institute (NDI). Below are photos from election day.
